Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality health services to clients, including sick calls, medical assessments, and health education.
- Assess and prioritize medical needs during each shift, providing treatment within the nursing scope of practice.
- Conduct essential health screenings to meet state agency requirements.
- Assist in training staff on health protocols and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation as per established procedures.
- Participate in emergency drills and provide necessary training to staff.
- Manage health supplies and ensure all equipment is stocked and functional.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must possess a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Experience: Preferred experience in pediatric or adolescent care settings.
- Skills: Strong decision-making abilities and knowledge of child/adolescent health issues.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds and provide necessary physical support to clients.
- Other: Must pass state criminal background checks and maintain a valid driver's license.
