Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team at AMETEK PDS. As an integral part of our production process, you will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and solder electronic components onto PCBs using various techniques, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology (PTH)
  • Inspect and test assembled PCBs to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Package and prepare PCBs for shipping
  • Participate in process improvements and training to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Operate machinery and equipment used in the PCB area, such as the Wave solderer and CS-400
  • Perform duties related to conformal coating, module cleaning, potting, and testing
  • Assemble small mechanical products, springs, gears, and mechanical subassemblies
  • Assemble and test electro and electro-mechanical products
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of prior experience in production and/or manufacturing
  • Experience in manufacturing aircraft instruments or electronics is desired
  • Assembly experience (mechanical or electrical) is essential
  • Good attendance and willingness to learn are required
