As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success and quality of our swim school, including staffing, pool operations, cash management, customer service, retail and vending departments, private party operations, and workplace employee activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and control daily operations to ensure the school is running per GSS standard operating procedures.
  • Manage staff to ensure high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction.
  • Train and oversee aquatics department to provide superior swim instruction to students.
  • Provide sales and marketing training to qualified sales staff.
  • Direct private party staff to ensure GSS standard operating procedures are maintained.
  • Gain knowledge and experience in Links software for bookings, class scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions.
  • Gain a high level of knowledge and experience in GSS pool operations to maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment.
  • Initiate and oversee workplace employee activities to achieve improved employee satisfaction.
  • Direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and all safety procedures.
  • Maintain current certifications and stay up-to-date professionally on the aquatics and management field.
  • Schedule staff and manage payroll.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or equivalent desired.
  • Three to five years management experience required.
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications required.
Work Environment:

While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.

Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. Each franchisee sets their own wages, benefit programs, and terms and conditions of employment, which may vary at each Goldfish Swim School location.
