Job Title: Athletic Trainer Outreach/UKHC

UK HealthCare Sports Medicine is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to provide daily coverage at Georgetown College for assigned sports. As an Athletic Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in preventing, evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating athletic injuries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily coverage for assigned sports at Georgetown College
  • Conduct pre-participation physical exams and provide medical clearance for student-athletes
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for student-athletes
  • Evaluate and treat athletic injuries, including providing rehabilitation and return-to-play guidance
  • Collaborate with coaching staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for student-athletes
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC)
  • Experience working with college-aged student-athletes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
