Position Overview:

The Ladders is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to enhance our financial operations. The primary role of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide insights into the financial performance of The Ladders.

This position is responsible for the month-end closing process and delivering precise financial reports to both The Ladders and its parent organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the financial expert within the business unit.
  • Complete month-end closing processes within a timely manner and ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
  • Implement internal controls to promote accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee capital expenditure depreciation and amortization.
  • Collaborate with management and operational teams to develop accurate annual budgets and long-term financial projections.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports for internal meetings.
  • Manage vendor setups in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and oversee financial reports related to client expenditures.
  • Compile weekly utilization reports and monthly summaries for leadership review.
  • Ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations.
  • Manage property tax assessments.
  • Conduct accruals for fixed-fee projects following internal guidelines.
  • Maintain the company asset inventory, including acquisitions and disposals.
  • Record daily customer payments accurately.
  • Prepare annual tax audit reports as required.
  • Compile data for audit purposes as requested by the parent company.
  • Document weekly per diem payments.
  • Submit annual reports to auditors as needed.
  • Assist accounting and purchasing teams with coding and taxation inquiries.
  • Oversee cost allocations across various product lines.
  • Conduct monthly bank account reconciliations.
  • File annual 1099 forms.
  • Complete government census reports annually.
  • Manage accounts payable check runs and cash flow requirements.
  • Support expense reporting processes and train new users.
  • Assist leadership in managing balance sheets and cash flow effectively.
  • Identify potential business risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Perform trend analysis and communicate findings to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is essential.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems is necessary.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of sales, use, and property tax regulations is required.
