We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Geropsych Unit of our new specialty hospital in Northwest Reno. This is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week, with a convenient day shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and compassionate care to patients in the medical/telemetry environment, adhering to the principles of Patient Centered Care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs, and develop individualized care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with patients' designated care partners to meet their educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Current NV RN or NV LPN License
- Current BLS certificate
- One year full-time or three years part-time experience in a psychiatric setting preferred
