CNC Machinist Position

JobsRUs.com is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Carthage, NY. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining equipment to produce components efficiently and accurately.

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce components efficiently and accurately.
• Perform in-process inspection of machined parts to verify conformance to customer requirements.
• Monitor parts as they are completed on the machine, and detect malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other production team members.
• Communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Experienced in manual and CNC type machining process using a wide variety of machine tools.
• Experience with CAD/CAM is a plus.
• Working knowledge of a wide variety of inspection devices to inspect components produced.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and at times teach others.
