Job Title: Dietitian

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster. This is a full-time position, 32 hours a week, with a shift schedule of Monday-Friday and weekly pay.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing the Dining Services Department to ensure high-quality nutritional services are provided daily. This includes maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment and overseeing the planning, preparation, and serving of therapeutic diets.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet sanitation standards and ensure the department adheres to proper food handling and preparation procedures.
  • Provide point-of-service meal delivery and follow therapeutic diets guidelines, including proper temperature and serving times.
  • Educate department staff on dietary functions and ensure they comply with policies and procedures.
  • Formulate menu planning within accepted therapeutic guidelines and ensure menus are accurately adhered to.
  • Oversee inventory management, including emergency supplies, and ensure sufficient stock is maintained.
  • Demonstrate correct safety techniques and ensure staff comply with privacy practices to protect residents' health information.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be registered as a dietician by the Committee of Dietetic Registration.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or related medical facility is preferred.
  • Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc., is preferred.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
