Job Summary

As a CT Technologist PRN at SSM Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This is a per diem opportunity that requires flexibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Completion of a radiology certification program or registration in radiology.
  • No prior experience required, but a strong commitment to learning and growth is essential.
Physical Demands
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to communicate with patients and colleagues.
  • Frequent lifting and moving of patients.
Professional Certifications
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • ARRT-R Radiography, ARRT-T Radiation Therapy, or ARRT-CT Computed Tomography certification.
