We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Assistant to join our team at Equity Bank. Key Responsibilities
• Process and close commercial loans while providing accurate and detailed support to Loan Officers.
• Complete all pre-closing requirements, including gathering supporting documentation and submitting loan information to Loan Systems.
• Assist in managing Loan Officer portfolios, including pre-underwriting requirements and exception lists.
• Maintain compliance with bank processes and procedures, including Bank Secrecy Act and Information Security requirements.
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers, including Loan Officers, Credit Department, Loan Operations, and vendors.
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of banking experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner.
• Computer skills, especially the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
Work Environment
This position regularly works in an office setting, with most job duties requiring the employee to work with computers and electronic media on a regular basis.
