Job Summary:

This internship is designed for Summer 2025 in the administration department at Steel Dynamics, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the quality department in strategic projects and administration tasks.
  • Analyze product and quality data to develop reports for presentation to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in metallurgical engineering, materials engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of sophomore class standing.
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Ability to work at least 30 hours per week.
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team coordination, and ability to work with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
  • Self-driven and able to complete tasks without specific direction.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office is highly desired, with a preference for experience in statistical analysis.
