Job Summary

The Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day procurement operations supporting the freight forwarding and business departments at GLOVIS America, Inc. This role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the procurement process is efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best possible terms for the company.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs and drive cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement processes and effective communication.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
