We are seeking a Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team at The Scarlet, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-energy kitchen environment, supporting the culinary team in food preparation and service. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment, operate dishwashing machinery, and ensure proper handling and storage of cleaned items.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Operate dishwashing machinery efficiently, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Assist with basic food prep tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.
