Overview

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Kalamazoo, MI. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with NovaCare Rehabilitation policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients, enhancing and expanding client relations with facilities and their staff.
  • Work alongside two fellowship-trained orthopedic manual physical therapists who serve as instructors and fellowship mentors.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
  • State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
  • CPR certification.
