We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at Rinker Materials. As a Crane Operator, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of cranes and hoists, ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.

• Operate cranes and hoists to transfer loads to construction sites and discharge safely
• Bind loads to cranes and ensure secure transportation
• Inspect equipment and machinery to prevent malfunctions and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Keep and update maintenance and activity logs to track equipment performance and maintenance needs
• Perform basic repairs to machines and equipment to minimize downtime
• Set up machinery based on complex manuals and instructions
• Coordinate with ground operators and interpret hand and verbal signals to ensure seamless communication
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries

• Previous experience as a crane operator or a similar role
• Working experience handling different types of cranes and equipment
• Ability to lift heavy loads, work in heights, and stand for long hours
• Accuracy and attention to detail to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Commercial driver's license is a must
• Relevant certification (e.g. NCCCO) is preferred
