We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Mt. San Antonio College. As a key member of our Professional and Organizational Development department, you will provide mental health services to students, faculty, and staff, including individual and group therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and education on mental health topics.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions and group sessions, developing treatment plans as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention, evaluation, and referral to community services, collaborating with community psychological evaluation teams and mental health providers as necessary.
- Coordinate the campus crisis response team, including scheduling and facilitating regular meetings, leading case reviews, and publishing the on-call calendar and response handbook.
- Teach suicide prevention strategies, provide clinical presentations on various topics to groups on campus, and offer mental health support at campus events.
- Compile information and health statistics data for reports.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and services provided.
- Doctorate in Psychology or Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
- Three years of experience in a mental health care setting or private practice, with trauma care experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a mental health clinician in the state of California.
The person holding this position is required to be present on Mt. San Antonio College's campus to perform all essential duties and responsibilities.
As a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act, the person holding this position is required to comply with the requirements set forth in Administrative Procedure 3518, titled Child Abuse Reporting, as a condition of employment.
