Heavy Equipment Operator/Heavy Civil Construction Specialist

This is a job opening for an experienced heavy equipment operator to work on various construction projects throughout the Central Alabama Area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy machinery, excellent safety awareness, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, rollers, excavators, dozers, and graders.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal working condition.
- Coordinate machine actions with other activities and ensure safe operation of equipment.
- Monitor operations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with other job positions as needed to ensure job completion.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Excellent safety awareness and ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in job site location.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
