Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the full school year. This position is based in the beautiful Santa Clarita area and offers a fulfilling opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students from preschool through 6th grade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Screening: Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify students with speech and language needs.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement IEPs for students requiring speech and language services.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and services provided.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights to support students' educational goals.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure or the ability to obtain licensure in California.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
