Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse for our ICU. In this role, you will provide expert clinical care to ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient treatment in a fast-paced environment. We are a supportive team, eager to welcome a passionate individual who shares our commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for critically ill patients.
- Educate patients and families on medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain and review patient records, including test results.
- Administer medications as per physician orders.
Requirements:
- Active Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
- NIHSS certification required within six months of hire.
- Strong critical thinking, communication skills, and proficiency in PC usage.
