This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Exhibit exceptional communication skills to explain procedures to patients, reducing anxieties and ensuring patient cooperation.
- Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring optimal comfort and safety.
- Select and operate ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings according to examination specifications.
- Record diagnostic data, maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results.
- Orient new hires, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Abdomen from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
