Position Overview
The Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting the Head of Global PMO with tasks related to the management, analysis, and tracking of project portfolios and project management processes, aligning with the overarching corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Global PMO in overseeing, analyzing, and monitoring the project portfolio.
- Enhance and maintain the reporting framework and dashboards for project and portfolio status updates.
- Facilitate portfolio reporting across various functional or departmental areas within the CTO organization to support informed strategic decisions.
- Contribute to the analysis, monitoring, and reporting of project and departmental KPIs (cost, quality, etc.) for the CTO organization.
- Coordinate meetings with stakeholders as necessary and aid in the creation of presentations and meeting minutes.
- Support the enhancement of the PMO framework and project governance structure in accordance with global project management standards.
- Assist project managers in adhering to established PM practices.
- Contribute to development orders and project accounting oversight on commercial projects.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of project management tools and systems.
- Manage the Global Project Management and Global PMO SharePoint page.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within a PMO environment or project management, with proficiency in contemporary PM methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of fundamental data processing and analysis techniques.
- Proficient in SAP, Office365/MS Excel, data analytics tools, and SharePoint.
- Strong interest in project and portfolio analytics and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with project, program, and portfolio management processes and best practices, including schedule, issue, and risk management.
- Experience in an intercultural and interdisciplinary environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Able to perform under pressure to meet short-term goals while maintaining long-term objectives.
- PM certification (PMP, IPMA, or Agile) is advantageous.
