Job Title: Les Mills Instructor

At The Edge Fitness Clubs, we're seeking a highly motivated and energetic Les Mills Instructor to join our team. As a Les Mills Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality member experiences through safe, effective, and motivational classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality classes that meet the needs of our members
  • Demonstrate proper techniques and form while modifying intensity for members when necessary
  • Increase attendance through knowledge, skill, and emotional connection
  • Teach at least two classes a week
  • Create a positive and inclusive class environment
  • Address member concerns or direct to appropriate club management
  • Report equipment maintenance needs to club management
  • Drive excitement for classes and recruit members to join
  • Secure substitutes to ensure class coverage, per Edge policies and procedures
  • Maintain a growing social media presence to attract new participants to classes and special events
  • Read staff communications and attend staff meetings as required
  • Maintain a professional attitude toward responsibilities, fellow instructors, club staff, and members
  • Adhere to Group Exercise policies and procedures
  • Support and articulate the Edge Fitness mission statement
  • Maintain a healthy lifestyle
Requirements:
  • 6 months experience teaching Les Mills formats
  • Current Les Mills Certification in the appropriate format (active autoship)
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Outgoing, energetic, and able to perform in front of an audience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and ability to demonstrate them
