Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling.
- Process patient information, including verifying patient identities and updating records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, prescriptions, and inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with pharmacy practices and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Pharmacy Technician certification or training preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with counting and measuring.
