Job Overview

Citizens is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers, helping them achieve their financial goals, and building strong relationships with our branch team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized service to customers, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process transactions, including cashing checks, processing withdrawals and deposits, and handling other customer transactions.
  • Work collaboratively with the branch team to meet customer needs and achieve sales and referral goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on Citizens products and services, and provide customers with information and solutions to meet their financial needs.
  • Meet quarterly referral goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience, with a focus on recommending and referring products and services to customers.
  • Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to effectively ask questions and identify customer needs.
  • Ability to problem-solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Comfortable with using digital technology to support business goals.
  • Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred Skills:

  • Six months of experience processing transactions, including cash and digital payments.
  • Motivational skills, with the ability to motivate teammates, business partners, and specialists.
  • Process-oriented, energetic, and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask effectively.
