Job Responsibilities:
Operate advanced imaging technology to generate precise visuals of internal body structures for diagnostic evaluation.
Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to guarantee accurate imaging and optimal patient care.
Key Duties:
- Clearly explain procedures to patients, addressing any inquiries to foster understanding and cooperation.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Administer necessary contrast agents and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Adhere to established protocols for imaging procedures to ensure precision.
- Adjust imaging settings to achieve the best diagnostic outcomes.
- Follow safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines diligently.
- Conduct routine maintenance and quality assurance checks on imaging devices.
- Ensure proper calibration and functionality of imaging equipment.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists regarding imaging results and any required follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to integrate imaging findings into patient care strategies.
Qualifications:
- ARRT & BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is necessary.
