Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time role that involves working from Tuesday to Saturday. The compensation ranges from $26 to $33 per hour, depending on experience.

The Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering direct care to residents under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administer physical therapy interventions to residents as per the treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.

2. Support the Physical Therapist during assessments, evaluations, and intricate treatment procedures.

3. Monitor, document, and communicate to the therapist regarding the conditions, reactions, and responses associated with assigned tasks.

4. Keep accurate daily records of treatments and document progress notes on residents as instructed by the therapist.

5. Assist in the screening process for new admissions.

6. Collaborate with the therapist in consultations with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, as necessary.

7. Help maintain the physical therapy department and its equipment.

8. Participate in in-service training programs and other meetings as directed by the Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

2. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in accordance with state regulations.

3. Experience in a similar healthcare setting is preferred.

4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.

5. Capability to comprehend and execute the directives of the Physical Therapist and adhere to the facility's policies and procedures.
