Surgical Technologist II

The Surgical Technologist II plays a vital role in the operating room, assisting the surgical team in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgical team in preparing patients for surgery, including setting up equipment and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including handing instruments and supplies to the surgeon.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of a surgical technology program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
- 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist or in a related field.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification or equivalent required.
