About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital – Springfield. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to serve our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide morning and evening care to patients, including bed baths, oral hygiene, and back care.
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as feeding, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Answer patient call lights and anticipate their needs to ensure timely care.
  • Assist licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures and report any changes in patient condition or behavior.
Requirements
  • CPR/BCLS Certification
  • Minimum six months experience in an acute or long term facility preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
