Key Responsibilities
  • Interact daily with patients, families, visitors, and staff, providing nutritious food to promote health and healing.
  • Follow standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures for the healthcare food service industry, including monitoring and maintaining food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes.
  • Collaborate with facility staff to ensure optimal nutritional care in all healthcare food service operations, demonstrating excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all food handling areas are sanitized and disinfected for employee, patient, and guest safety.
  • Exhibit high degree knowledge in food preparation and food production, accurately portioning meals and beverages while ensuring aesthetically pleasing presentation.
  • Support team members in all areas of food services, including cashier, stocking, cleaning, tray service, dishwashing, and food storage.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
