About the Position

We are seeking a distinguished Professor to hold the Chaddick Chair in Opto-Electronics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The successful candidate will be a leading expert in electro-optics and photonics, with a strong track record of research and teaching excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large-scale research projects in electro-optics and photonics
  • Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in electro-optics and photonics
  • Mentor and advise students in research projects
  • Collaborate with faculty and researchers across disciplines
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong background in electro-optics and photonics. They will have a proven track record of research and teaching excellence, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
