The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking a highly organized and results-oriented individual to serve as Title IV-E and Medicaid Supervisor. This position will manage and direct the operations of the Department's Title IV-E and Medicaid programs on a statewide basis, providing oversight to subordinate supervisors and staff responsible for determining eligibility for federal benefit programs.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for determining eligibility for Title IV-E, Medicaid, and other federal benefit programs
- Provide oversight and guidance to subordinate supervisors and staff
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve program efficiency and effectiveness
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with coursework in business or public administration
- Requires three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, including professional experience in the determination and monitoring of eligibility or compliance with Title IV-E, Medicaid, or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
