Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Setting up and operating manufacturing machinery, ensuring safe and efficient production of high-quality plastic film rolls.
  • Conducting roll changes, including the removal of completed rolls and preparing for new production runs.
  • Monitoring the extrusion line, making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
  • Managing the flow of raw materials to the extrusion lines.
  • Documenting machine operating conditions and maintaining accurate logs.
  • Performing routine housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Utilizing various tools and equipment, including forklifts and industrial material handling devices.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred experience of 2 or more years in extrusion or manufacturing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math and reading proficiency.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Forklift operation capability.
  • Basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Candidates should be prepared for prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as performing physically demanding tasks in varying temperature conditions.
