Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Propane Delivery Driver to join our team in Greensboro, NC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck and delivery equipment to deliver propane gas to our customers.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $$65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes competitive base salary, opportunities for career growth, a cooperative and supportive team atmosphere, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate truck and delivery equipment safely and efficiently.
  2. Deliver propane gas to customers while adhering to all traffic rules and company guidelines.
  3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of vehicle and equipment.
  4. Document findings of inspections and ensure appropriate action is taken in regards to any exceptions.
  5. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, meter readings, and tank percentages.
  6. Verify driver settlement reports and ensure all information is recorded accurately.
  7. Report any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to management immediately.
Requirements
  • A valid Class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement required.
  • One year of equivalent experience in the propane industry.
  • Successful completion of company training programs.
  • Knowledge of propane properties, loading, and withdrawal procedures.
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles, telephones, calculators, and various hand and power tools.
