- Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, promoting student conduct that aligns with school standards and policies.

- PA Certification in the content area of interest
- Up-to-date clearances: Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting check
- Coursework in African American Studies is a plus but not required
