Job Description:

Join the Health & Human Services Comm team as a Rehabilitation Teacher III and make a difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing highly complex rehabilitation planning and instructional work with individuals in a State Supported Living Center (SSLC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide instruction and training to clients in daily living skills, education, and vocational skills.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify client needs and develop strategies for meeting those needs.
  • Monitor client progress and make adjustments to rehabilitation plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as rehabilitation, psychology, sociology, or education.
  • Two years of experience in rehabilitation services, with a focus on working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support to clients.
