As a Speech Language Pathologist with Concept Rehab, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values ongoing education, resources, and support.

This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality care, communicating effectively with healthcare teams, and maintaining impeccable documentation.

Job Responsibilities

Evaluations and Treatment Planning:

  • Evaluate patients within 24 to 48 hours of physician's orders to determine their rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and objectives.
  • Communicate with physicians, clinical managers, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Clinical Expertise:

  • Treat patients according to established treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and scope of practice as outlined by ASHA and licensure laws.
  • Provide objective input for discharge summaries and maintain accurate records of patient progress.

Collaboration and Professional Development:

  • Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to promote collaborative care.
  • Conduct in-service training programs for facility staff on restorative and functional maintenance programs.
  • Pursue continuing education and training opportunities to enhance professional development.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed minimum productivity standards established by Concept Rehab.
  • Recommend equipment to facilitate improved delivery of clinical services.
  • Report any problems with department equipment to appropriate personnel.
  • Act as a clinical supervisor for affiliating graduate clinicians.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensed in the state(s) where services are provided to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
