Critical Care Travel Nurse Opportunities in the US

We're looking for experienced Critical Care RNs to join our team as travel nurses in various locations across America. As a travel nurse with us, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing critical care to patients in need.
About the JobThis is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and hold certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS. As a critical care travel nurse, you'll be responsible for evaluating and monitoring patients, documenting care, assessing and implementing patient care plans, and delegating tasks to other healthcare providers when necessary.
As part of our team, you'll also provide education and support to patient families, which may include long-term care needs. Our ideal candidate should be prepared to perform a range of tasks, including:
- Providing basic bedside care
- Preparing and administering medication, documenting any adverse reactions
- Ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests
- Taking samples for lab work and interpreting reports
- Monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment
- Ensuring proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing
You'll work closely with the ICU team to ensure seamless patient care and communicate effectively with family members regarding patient conditions.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A current RN license in the state where the assignment takes place
- At least 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
- Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally), and navigate potentially hazardous environments
