Position Overview: As a Vascular Ultrasound Technician, you will conduct ultrasound assessments of patients' lower extremities and other necessary evaluations while ensuring patient comfort and maintaining an efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Assist the Physician in clarifying the treatment plan to the patient, addressing their unique requirements.
  • Prepare and sanitize procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound stations before and after each patient visit.
  • Perform additional ultrasound assessments as dictated by the Physician's treatment plan to guarantee patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Adhere to established timeframes for each ultrasound examination to maintain a smooth patient flow throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with office personnel, administrative staff, and Physicians to manage the ultrasound schedule, ensuring timely and quality patient care.
  • Continuously enhance your skills and work quality to meet the company's care standards through ongoing education and collaboration with fellow Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and oversee supply inventory to support effective operations.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) is essential.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and exceptional patient care abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
