IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT System Technician to join our team at Matrix Ventures. As an IT System Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our IT systems, including servers, networks, and peripherals.

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft operating systems and server applications
• Manage customer IT systems, including servers, SAN, network components, peripherals, backup, antivirus, firewall, telephone systems, etc.
• Provide telephone and remote customer support
• Configure, install, and document new hardware and software
• Set up and operate servers and network components
• Plan and manage IT projects with colleagues or external partners

• Successfully completed IT apprenticeship or degree
• Proficient in MS products (Windows Server, Office/Office365)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server services (Active Directory, DNS, etc.)
• Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VM-Ware) is advantageous
• Knowledge of alternative operating systems (Linux, Sun, VMWare, and Cit)
