We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Avalon Care Center Honolulu.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development, implementation, and modification of comprehensive care plans for residents.
  • Practice within the legal boundaries for practical nursing authorized by the state for patient care and related services.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses, advanced practice registered nurses, licensed physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members to provide excellent patient experience.

Requirements:

  • Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the State of Hawaii.
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Ongoing pursuit of Continuing Education Credits in clinical subjects, management, personal growth, and development.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company software.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Pass a criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and health evaluation.
