Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This role will also involve collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Assist with training and orientation of new staff members
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Minimum of 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse
- Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred
The Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with frequent exposure to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. The position requires standing for prolonged periods, bending, and lifting of up to 200 lbs. with assistance. The work environment is characterized by moderate noise levels and air temperature control.
