Phlebotomist - PRN Shift Varies - Hospital Campus Specialist

Williamson Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team on a PRN basis, working variable shifts at our hospital campus. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for performing phlebotomy services on inpatients, ensuring accurate specimen collection and timely results.
Job SummaryThe Inpatient Phlebotomist plays a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality laboratory services. Key Responsibilities- Perform phlebotomy services on inpatients, including adults, adolescents, and infants, with a focus on patient care and positive communication.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of Williamson Health, exhibiting and adhering to our Standards of Performance in all areas of job duties and responsibilities.
- Interact professionally with laboratory management, personnel, physicians, hospital staff, patients, and customers to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and TOSHA safety regulations, and exercising all laboratory safety precautions.
- Positively identify patients, label specimens, and enter results using two unique identifiers, maintaining current knowledge of laboratory policies and procedures.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy training or work experience; phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Good people skills necessary.
- Mobilab experience preferred.
