We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Engineer specializing in gas storage operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and expertise in well and reservoir integrity evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Bring over 10 years of experience in gas storage.
- Act as a specialist in assessing well and reservoir integrity.
- Utilize a minimum of 5 years experience with cased hole inspection tools, including cement bond logs, magnetic flux leakage, ultrasonic thickness measurements, and through-tubing tools to evaluate corrosion growth rates and the remaining lifespan of gas storage wells.
- Apply knowledge of inspection tool capabilities and limitations effectively.
- Leverage reservoir engineering and geoscience expertise to identify corrosion patterns and potential causes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to devise effective mitigation and prevention strategies.
- Employ 5+ years of experience with burst pressure models such as Barlow, API RP 579 Level II, and RSTRENG.
- Lead and manage research initiatives aimed at evaluating downhole inspection tool performance and burst pressure modeling.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, statistical, and programming skills to create probabilistic assessment models.
- Oversee downhole well inspections as required, spearheading field tests of inspection tools.
- Supervise third-party consultants, Ph.D. researchers, and SIMP Assessment engineers.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Hourly Pay: $40 - $70/hr
Compensation may vary based on individual skills, experience, and educational background.
Benefit packages commence on the 31st day of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, along with access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching. Paid sick leave and other forms of paid time off are also provided as per applicable laws.
