Position Overview

As an AV Control Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of control system programming for audio-visual solutions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless integration and functionality of AV systems for various clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and analyze AV system schematics and designs.
  • Collect and define programming specifications.
  • Design control systems and evaluate audio-visual configurations.
  • Create and develop new modules and user interfaces.
  • Establish technical standards and operational procedures.
  • Guide project teams with programming and technical insights as necessary.
  • Design control systems to align with client requirements and system capabilities.
  • Develop user interfaces that meet client specifications.
  • Install control programs and user interface designs in various environments.
  • Conduct commissioning and acceptance testing of programming.
  • Test integrated systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Assist manufacturers and clients in resolving technical challenges.
  • Travel to different project sites as needed.
  • Utilize test and calibration tools proficiently.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in various programming languages.
  • Manage software uploads and downloads in embedded systems.
  • Exhibit expertise in control system design (Crestron/AMX/Extron).
  • Possess a solid understanding of DSP programming.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and team members.
Qualifications
  • Experience with control systems, video conferencing, and audio DSP setup.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Crestron or AMX control system programming.
  • Harman Certified Control Professional (C-P) certification is mandatory.
  • Extron GC-Pro Certification is required.
  • Crestron and AMX certifications are essential.
  • CTS or CTS-D certification is preferred.
