Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and support an elementary student in a 1:1 setting.

About the Role

This position is crucial for supporting the student's behavioral and educational needs in a school environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, preferably in an educational or behavioral setting, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and strategies. They will also provide direct support to the student to enhance learning and promote positive behavior, while monitoring and documenting student progress, behavior, and skills development.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Provide direct support to the student to enhance learning and promote positive behavior.
  • Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and skills development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to the student's education.
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Valid RBT certification.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or behavioral setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
