Wood Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wood Mechanic to join our team at Crimson Solutions in Plauen. As a Wood Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating industrial production equipment in the wood industry, ensuring daily production goals are met, and maintaining machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating industrial production equipment, including cutting, edging, and CNC milling machines
  • Ensuring daily production goals are met and maintaining a high level of quality
  • Maintaining machines, identifying and resolving malfunctions, and coordinating maintenance intervals
  • Performing quality control checks and ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Coordinating with upstream and downstream workstations and communicating with work preparation and foremen
Requirements:
  • Completed training as a wood mechanic or carpenter
  • Prior experience in vehicle interior construction is advantageous
  • Solid knowledge of furniture production and experience with CNC-controlled wood processing machines
  • Strong technical skills and enjoyment of working with modern technology
  • Desire to continuously improve existing processes and ensure high-quality standards
