About the Job:

Job Description

As a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech), you will be responsible for conducting multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures.

You will work under the direction of experienced staff sonographers within the regional ultrasound program and provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting diagnostic ultrasound examinations
  • Working under the guidance of experienced staff sonographers
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

We offer a competitive salary package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week. The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Requirements:

  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program
  • National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent if applicable and license by the state regulatory agency if applicable
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire if applicable
  • BLS certification required
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)
