Laboratory Specimen Collector

We are seeking a skilled Specimen Collector to join our team at Millennium Health. As a key representative of our laboratory, you will be responsible for providing exemplary care and exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients. They should also possess demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer, and a valid driver's license. Additionally, they should be able to ensure HIPAA, HiTrust, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.
In this role, you will collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens, process and package collections or shipping, serve as an intermediary between the practice/clinic and the laboratory, record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information. You will also resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal, order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite, and observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
The estimated salary for this position is $17-$20 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographical location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k with Company Match, Paid Time off and Holidays, Behavioral and Health Care Resources.
