Overview:

The Operations team at Piasecki Aircraft Corporation is in search of a dedicated Supply Chain Procurement Lead to drive our business expansion goals by addressing procurement and supply chain requirements. This role is pivotal in acquiring research-related products and services, thereby supporting PiAC's innovative technology advancements in collaboration with suppliers for future aerospace offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, manage, and ensure the alignment of a supply chain for sourcing goods and services for the organization.
  • Act as the authorized representative of the company, responsible for managing all supplier interactions and empowered to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Provide oversight on supply and demand dynamics, scheduling, supplier quality, delivery timelines, and financial performance metrics.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing and contractual terms.
  • Develop and implement negotiation strategies that culminate in formal contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Interpret and enforce the stipulations of contracts.
  • Engage with external clients to address supplier performance challenges.
  • Facilitate supplier performance teams to cultivate strategic supplier solutions across various programs and commodities.
  • Initiate and promote enhancements in the supply chain to minimize delays and improve business outcomes.
  • Plan and manage modernization and digital transformation initiatives within the Procurement Department.
  • Design and execute improved procurement methodologies that enhance both departmental and inter-departmental workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement that can be integrated into supplier contract strategies.
  • Participate as a member of the PiAC Material Review Board.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent military experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant work or military experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • At least 3 years of experience in interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions (mandatory).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supplier Management or Procurement processes (mandatory).
  • Proficient in professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve objectives (mandatory).
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships, strategic partnerships, and supplier performance for at least 3 years.
  • At least 3 years of experience in creating and leading Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint Materials Module is preferred.
  • Understanding of contract structures, terms and conditions, negotiation, and contracting processes.
  • Experience with Government Sub-Contracts.
  • Proven track record in negotiating complex contracts.
  • Experience leading teams in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
