Primary School Special Education Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a Primary School Special Education Therapist. This role will involve working with students in a school setting, providing individualized therapy sessions to help them overcome communication challenges.
About the Role:
- This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of experience working in a school setting.
- A Master's degree in a related field and active ASHA membership are required.
- State licensure and experience working with students with varying abilities are highly valued.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
- The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy sessions to students in a primary school setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech and language therapy, incorporating new techniques and strategies into practice.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Speech-Language Pathology).
- Active ASHA membership and state licensure.
- At least 1+ years of experience working in a school setting.
- Experience working with students with varying abilities is highly valued.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
